Horizontal production

Now days most of the production locations to produce wall elements are based on the horizontal pouring technique. Principally a wall is poured horizontally and after curing placed vertically for transportation.

The horizontal production process is commonly used for all prefabricated concrete parts. Disadvantage of this production process in the wall production is that there should always be plaster one site, this means that the finishing must be done on site (in situ). Advantage is that large production capacities are available. This means that it is easy to react immediately on demands of the market.

Iconorm for horizontal production will be delivered to the concrete industry as an semi-finished product or, preferable, can be produced under licence by the concrete industry itself. This means that the for horizontal produced Iconorm wall elements will be used as semi-finished product in the precast industry.
