Vertical production

Walls on site are mostly vertically produced using a shuttering system. Prefabricated elements which are delivered on site are mostly produced in a horizontal production process. In exceptional cases they are produced in a vertical (battery) moulding system for example to produce two sided smooth concrete walls.

Pouring concrete vertical has many advantages:

• Wall is on both sides smooth which lowers the finishing costs
• There are fewer production steps necessary, which reduces the risk of damaging
• Less reinforcement necessary
• Installation techniques are more simple to attach
• Construction detailss become easier
• hermal bridge free constructions are no longer a problem

You can use the Iconorm panels for vertical production techniques:

• as a semi-finished product in the precast industry
• for shuttering systems on site
